Shelter Bay is a Net Zero Ready single family residence located near Revelstoke, BC.
The owners of this home came to us with a vision for a green house on their Upper Arrow Lake shore property. With a functional layout and budget in mind, they opted for our predesigned Model 203. This single module design is laid out to include two bedrooms and an office, which allows this creative couple designated spaces to enjoy their crafts.
Salvaged wood was used for the cedar shingles on the exterior of this home, and on the hard wood floors inside. Including the green exterior metal sheeting, the finishes of this home were selected using our standard designer line. Both the crawlspace foundation, and the flat roof, used on this build are wonderful quick install and cost effective options.
This couple’s green house, is truly a GREEN house. It’s exterior colour matches it’s internal capabilities and operates to a Step Code 5; Net Zero Ready energy standard.
